Playing video games now? I come in dead last

When I was little I knew just what to do
Stayed up all night to beat Mario Brothers 2
My older brother could never get ahead
Turning red and throwing the controller at my head
Plug in the Nintendo, I was in my element
But now my playing has turned to excrement
Board games, yeah I’m still the champ
Beat a video game, uh, I can’t

Feeling cheesy as I set the game back to easy
But believe me, it won’t even help redeem me,

It’s not just that I’m out of practice
It’s also that I’m kind of distracted
I got bills to pay and rhymes to slay
So there’s not a lot of time for me to do a replay
I press start but I don’t have an exact plan
I really used to be great at Mrs. Pac Man
Mega Man and even RC Pro Am
Gonna throw the Xbox right into the trash can
